1.Get Slim Detox Water - It essentially uses very simple ingredients which not only flushes out harmful toxins but also helps in cutting down fat. Cucumber is a diuretic and hence helps in avoiding water retention in your body. Lemon and lime help in flushing out unwanted toxins from the digestive tract. Grapefruit helps in burning those unwanted fats down. To 1/2 gallon of water just add sliced 1/2 of a medium sized grapefruit, 1/2 sliced cucumber, 1/2 each of sliced lemon and line and couple of mint leaves to elevate the taste. Let the mix stand in fridge for couple of hours and then serve! Try to drink half gallons of it everyday and feel the change! 1/2 gallon is approx. 2 litres which comes down to roughly 4 glasses of standard size.

2. Zero Calorie Detox Water - The most awesome thing about this one is pretty obvious. Zero calories! Just add Cinnamon stick (Dalchini) and thinly sliced apples to a 4 litre jar. Add ice cubes. Allow it to stand for an hour or so in refrigerator and then serve. Quantity of apples can vary depending on how strong you want your water to be. Also, apples and cinnamon stick can be reused for upto 3-4 times.

3. Fruitilicious Detox Water - Always liked strawberries and kiwis? find out a new way how these little delicious fruits can help you detoxify. Kiwis are very rich in vitamins like Vitamin A and E and hence good for your eyes. They also help in flushing out unwanted toxins from your body. Strawberries on the other hand have anti ageing properties and help in eliminating carcinogens. So, to 2 litres of water add couple of strawberries and kiwis. Just chop them well so that flavour infuses properly and let them stand in refrigerator for 2 hours and then serve. Tip! Add couple of mint leaves for a completely new flavour!

4. Lemon and Ginger Detox Water - Ginger is a natural pain reliever and adding it to your water can give you wonderful detox properties. For this recipe, you need about 12 ounces of water at room temperature as well as the juice of 1/2 a lemon and 1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger root. Just add your lemon juice to the water and then grate the ginger into it using a zester or cheese grater. This is a great drink for first thing in the morning. Not only will it help to relieve pain all day, it will cleanse toxins from your body throughout the day and the lemon juice helps to release those nasty toxins so they’ll flush out better.

5. Peppermint Orange Detox Water - This detox water has ingredients that will clean out your kidneys, eliminate bloating and help you to enjoy much healthier skin. It also aids in digestion. You need about 1/2 gallon of purified water, 1/2 lemon sliced, 1/2 lime sliced, 1/2 orange sliced, 1 cup of sliced cucumber with peels, 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger and a handful of fresh peppermint leaves. Just add all of the ingredients into a pitcher and cover with ice. Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours before serving. Remember to discard it before 24 hrs so that lemon fruits don't get mushy.
